i gotta say that this was the outstanding dish - kepiting soka or soka crab

my besties came the next night to my home which was surprising :) it felt weird to see them again
after all this time, it feels like it was just yesterday, but i know that i missed a lot of things
i still could not believe it that they were there in front of me :) so nice to hug them again!
so we and my parents went to the best place for seafood - sarang kepiting, mangga besar.
there must be plenty of places to eat seafood here in australia, but no they dont cook it the way we cook it.
so yeah, ate a LOT that night. good food, good times.

one of the exciting thing about going home is the food (beside my family, of course :p)
i could eat all my cravings! like the real good stuff!
this is one of them - sate padang. we went to Pasaraya Grande and straight to Mak Syukur!
it was epic man! but the thing is I couldnt stand spicy as much as I used to, which is dissapointing!
but i fought for it, so that I could enjoy this beautiful thing :)

This was the day I got stranded at the airport, Melbourne Tullamarine international airport that is.
for frickin five hours, hows that for starting up my journey, pretty bad huh?
I think it was me who got unlucky, just because this doesn't happen that often.
I was a zombie airport for sure, i couldnt sleep the night before - this is just a habit of my body who wouldnt go to sleep, too nervous to travel.
so tried every position to sleep at the airport,no luck.

 no, didnt fly with royal brunei, this was just a shot when i was bored. but maybe i should take this airline sometime, i heard they're pretty awesome and cheap.

i was suppose to transit in Denpasar, Bali. with my time table of connecting flight i should have got the time to spend time at seminyak or some other beach somewhere in Bali.
but nope, no luck. i was late for my second flight. and they better wait for me, its not my fault that im late.
it was frustating, havent been back for a while made me felt about the service in my country dissapointing.
i might sound arrogant or something but when you're used to convenience it'll be a struggle facing what happened to me that day :p
after a while then you'll get used to it again. i still love indonesia, don't worry.
and it was sooo humid, i could barely breath.
enough complains i should move on to the next nicer post hahaha

summer 2011/2012

i might missed out telling you that i'll be away so quite some time
sorry for ditching with no post for a few months
first, it was assignments and exam then i was away.
so, i'm back now, hopefully everything will be normal soon
i haven't got my comfortable phase yet, but i'm getting there.
let me tell you bit by bit about the journey (i know that i haven't even finished my family roadtrip, but we'll figure that out, squeeze in here and there, ok?) - so it might not be in order.

i went back home to bandung/jakarta after 20 months, it feels weird, frustrating but so happy meeting my friends and family. I did not have much time to meet everyone, 3weeks wasn't long enough, apparently, plus I was sick for a few days (food poisoning)

so the route was
Melbourne - Denpasar - Jakarta - Bandung - Yogyakarta - Jakarta - Bogor - Jakarta
Jakarta - KL - Guangzhou - Hefei - Suzhou - Hangzhou - Shanghai - KL
KL - Delhi - Gurgaon - Agra - Delhi - Bangalore - Mumbai - Goa - Mumbai - KL
KL - Jakarta - Bandung - Jakarta - Denpasar - Melbourne.

13 flights [8 international, 5 domestic] + 2 bullet train ride + a zillion bus and car rides

then there was St. Jerome Laneway Festival plus had a roadtrip yesterday to Mornington Peninsula.
yup, my body is screaming to stop. i guess i had enough as well, enough for this summer.
i feel blessed.

now i don't know where to start, seriously.
